Hi Stacy,
I appreciate your candor in evaluating mba appicants' profiles and would be interested to hear what you think of my chances.
Iam Hari from India and here is my profile.
Academics:
Completed 3-year Bachelor degree in Computer Science & Engineering with distinction in 2001.
Completed PG course (Master of Computer Applications) from Open Universitiy in correspondence.
All the Academic in scool and colleges are decent like, 86%, 72%.
Professional Experience:
Worked in a Manufacturing company for more that 4 years in IT function and gained good knowledge in Business Domain and ERP expertise.
After that Joined in a US firm and working for last 2 years.
I have total 6 years of IT experience as of now and no internation experience in that. But for the last 2 years Iam with US firm and having interactions with all the region people in handling the projects and providing solutions.
Extracurricular Activities:
I dont have considerable extracurricular activities other than involving in some social activities conduction in organization every year.
I used to represent class in my college days and organize events in coordination with college committe.
GMAT: Iam currently preparing for GMAT and planned to take test in Aug. And aiming for a score of 700+.
My longterm goal is to establish goup of schools which are primarily responsibile for developing future leaders, enriching Indian culture and helping villages to build economic stability.
Iam planning to apply for MBA in Enterprenureship from a top international B-Schools 2008 batch. Considering my profile , Can I aim for the top schools like Stanford, Wharton etc..? If yes, what are the areas that I need to be strong and represent in my applications? and please suggest the best school for my profile and approach I need to follow..

The biggest issue I see with your profile is that you have this interesting and ambitious career goal but no background that helps an adcomm understand the basis for this goal, where it came from, or to help them really believe it. It is not linked to your career to date and you have not even done any volunteer work along these lines. That makes it feel a bit "unbelieveable". If I had to suggest just one thing, I think you should start taking action to volunteer in thsi area so that your story is more credible. As is now, I think Stanford would be a stretch.
