Hello,

I am a non-traditional MBA applicant. Would appreciate your professional view on my profile and chances.

Age: 28 Female

Education:
BA. Arts (Second Class Honor Degree GPA 3.32)
Major in French and minor in Information Sciences and Psychology from top 3 universities in South-East Asia.

Other quantitative class/ experience:
- MicroEcon, Rutgers University, B+ (3.5)
- In charge of payroll/ financial report and quarterly reconciliation

Dual citizenship: U.S. + [non-disclosure country in SE Asia]

Ethnic group: Asian

Work experience:
4 years with multiple employers both in SE Asia and the U.S. - all were in a non-profit education organization and government agencies. Main working areas were public services, customer management, project management, communication and some marketing.

Pro-bono:
Tutor disadvantaged New York City students for the SAT

Short-term Goal:
To switch career into a full marketing strategist and management executive career with the U.S. new media companies who have the potential to expand a market to SE Asia.

Long-term Goal:
To be a country manager of that company in my country (in SE Asia) and at the same time realize my philanthropic goal in enhancing social platform in education for disadvantaged youth.

GRE:
I didn't take GMAT. I will apply with GRE
Verbal 570 (80%)
Quant 750 (82%)
AWE 3.0 (10%) * I was nervous with GRE AWE but I plan to state that my TOEFL writing score (29 from 30) and my experience working with international agencies in the U.S. will compensate this flaw.

My GRE concern is that some schools state that they will use a GRE/GMAT converter since the few apply with GRE, for example Columbia. While others like Yale who accepts GRE for the second year says they will compare apple to apple.

I would like to know my chances of getting admitted in the full-time MBA program at Columbia Business School, Yale SOM (2nd round) and Johnson at Cornell (2nd round).

I am shooting for top 10 b-schools and know there are not all of them taking GRE right now, but would appreciate your suggestion for other school choices and ways to improve my profile.
