Topic: Profile evaluation for top 5 school
PostWed Oct 21, 2009 5:39 pm Reply with quote

Hi,

I'm hoping to get an assessment of my chances of getting into a top 5 school.

Below is my profile:

Asian American female
corporate attorney for past few years

GMAT: 740 (Q48, V42)

BA in economics from top 5 liberal arts college
JD from top 10 law school

Undergraduate GPA: 3.75

I'm worried about my quant score since I haven't done much quant-related work since college. Should I take the GMAT again to try and get that part of my score up? I just don't want my quant score to be the reason my application is weak.

Thanks for any advice!

Hi, and thanks for your inquiry. What was the percentage for your quant score? Also, can you round out your profile a bit? What do you do outside of work, what kind of responsibilities have you taken on at work, some discussion of your growth, leadership, initiative, etc.

Thanks!
