Hi,

Helped in enhancing office work flow by developing a common employee portal based on the needs of the various departments.

b) IDBI Capital (investment banking: my target industry)
Worked directly with the Vice President and associates in evaluating potential deals and carrying out Information Memorandum review. Also prepared investment committee material and made cold calls to CFOs of potential investing companies.

b) ESDS solutions (Cloud computing MNC)
Helped in crystallizing effective marketing and advertisement strategies by developing a web crawler tailor-made for the cloud-oriented services of the company.

2) Volunteered for an NGO for over an year.
The work was focused on educating underprivileged girls in the backward region where the organisation is located.

3) Published 2 international(IEEE) and 1 national papers in my desired field (finance).

4) Volunteer for Bharatiya Chhatra Sansad (Indian Student Parliament), an annual conference for helping university students navigate the political landscape of the country.
5) Clubs in college: Google Developers Group, Computer Society of India.

A high GMAT score increases the applicant’s chances of admissions, but in most cases, the GMAT scores, even for the top MiM schools are not required to be as high as for most top MBA programs. Applicants should strive for a score of 680 or higher, in order to have reasonable chances of admission to the top MiM programs. Hi shan91095,

You have a well-rounded profile and a well-suited one for the MIM programs. The MIM programs typically look for a sound academic background, evidence of internship or work experience and a strong involvement with extracurriculars. A good GPA shows a that you are a consistent performer and this along with the GMAT forms the foundation of your application.

We recommend a GMAT of at least 700 and 720+ if your long-term goal includes consulting. In addition, a well-written application and clear and creative essays would eventually help your candidature.

Feel free to reach out in case of any other queries.
