I would like to know whether i will be eligible to apply for fall 2010 for a course in General Management. I dont have any international work ex but i am working in a US company so does that give me any credit. I have held a number of leadership positions during my college days, does it cover up for my lack of adequate work ex.

I am interested in applying to Georgia Tech, Cornell, Carlson school of management, Washington University, Boston University..

These were the schools which did not mention strict 2 yr work ex requirement.

Please advice

Hi Mohit,

Your EC seem to be decent but not extraordinary. Your profile seriously lacks work ex. I believe you should hold on for a couple of years and gather some work ex. Experience mainly in a managerial role is appreciated. If not then , work which requires responsibility. You do not have to be a hotshot in your company , any work or job or a part of it for which you are solely responsible and accountable is very much appreciated. International experience is also an added bonus.
Your GMAT score is decent but not outstanding. You are in the making of a good candidate. Before you apply I suggest you should go for a better work ex and may be in that time you can retake the GMAT and push your score higher.
