Profile Evaluation - 95% GRE (dual degree)

Post Thu Feb 11, 2016 3:38 am
I'd appreciate feedback on how I may stack up at top schools. Also equally interested in which programs may make sense if I'm targeting scholarships. Thanks for the help! I'm interested in dual MBA/MPP programs and plan to pursue a career in development.

-GRE (168Q, 165V, 5A)
-3.89 GPA, undergraduate degree in Finance from honors business program at Indiana University
-selected to help manage student run investment portfolio. selected by alumni board as stock pick winner
-leadership roles in business fraternity
-supplemental instructor for introductory econ

-Work experience: 2 years as Peace Corps volunteer in Balkans, working on local economic development (current).
-3 years at Barclays (New York) in equity research. Promoted from Analyst to Assistance Vice President. Worked on top ranked team (ranked by institutional investor magazine)

-Professional Goal: Launch a successful career in development, making a positive impact on the world. I'm interested in impacting social change by empowering private market actors. Looking to leverage my skill set in financial analysis and interest in the global financial and economic markets with passion for helping others. Dream job would be to work for the International Financial Corporation or other multinational (USAID, World Bank), or a large foundation (Gates foundation, ect.)

-White American male (age 28 at matriculation)
-Targets: HBS, SBS, Wharton
-Scholarship Targets: UCLA, NYU, Duke, Georgetown

What do you think!?Any other suggestions for scholarship targets?
