You can eliminate A,B and E just by looking at the options.

Both together take 20 days, so assuming equal rates for both they would take 40 days each.

But we're asked rate of slower, so it should be >40.

We are left with 60 and 65.

    Lets try 60.

We know 1/A + 1/B = 1/20 (They complete 1/20th of the work in 1 day, we assume A's rate is 60 days)

    So, 1/60 + 1/B = 1/20

    1/B = 1/30 (or) B takes 30 days.

This perfectly matches the statement that it takes 45 days when A completes half the work and B completes the other half.

    So A would work for 30 days and B 15 days. Total = 45. C

    Difference in rate would be 10(60) - 10(40) = 200.

Now $200 is mentioned as 25% (1/4) reduction in revenue, hence revenue should be 4(200) = $800 B

    6 miles takes 120 mins
So, each mile takes 20 mins -> 5 miles 100 mins.

One cups remains - So 9 used

In 2 hours 2 cups would be lost due to leak (7 remaining)

Last mile he drinks 3 cups -> First 5 miles 4 cups.

    We are asked cups/mile, so 4/5 A
