Practice Exam 1 - GMAT Prep - Word problem

by lucas211 » Thu May 26, 2016 6:03 am
Hello Everybody

Solved this question two days ago, and felt sure I got it right.
However now I see, that my choice is wrong - but still can't se why.
Anybody who can help?

My approach is to add the following:

100 pages of $5 = 500
40 pages of $3 (pages that were reviewed only once) = 120
10 pages of $3 (pages that were reviewed twice) = 30
for a total of $650

Thanks in advance :)

Hi Lucas,

Here's the problem: 10 pages of $3 (pages that were reviewed twice) = 30
Those 10 pages had TWO revisions.
Each revision is $3.
So, it should be: 10 pages of $6 (pages that were reviewed twice) = 60
Cheers,
Brent
