I have gone through the Powerscore CR bible, per my opinion spending much time to go through 300 pages of material just for CR is worthless. As long as we undertand the basics of CR we should be fine, Powerscore unnecessarily elaborates each topic in detail as if the intention is to give a 3 hr test only on CR, which I find a waste. Moreover, each topic detail and strategies seem to repeat themself in some or the other way, so don't see any point why so many pages are wasted to explain them. What are your thoughts about it? Has anyone gone through it or used it as a reference for CR study? like to know what you think..

AND PLEASE GUYS do respond, I joined this forum expecting people to respond on any doubts/queries, but I ultimately find that people are more interested in just reading the topics without giving their views / ideas, and hundreds of threads just go hanging in air or keep repeating themself since there are no responders on them. If this is the tendency their is no meaning to this forum..so please present your views on important topics

thanks,
Andy

Start reading the damn book saying "GMAT is not easy and there is no shortcut".
Personally, I think CR bible is a very good book. I read it cover to cover twice so far.
Drill baby drill !

GMATPowerPrep Test1= 740
GMATPowerPrep Test2= 760
Kaplan Diagnostic Test= 700
Kaplan Test1=600
Kalplan Test2=670

I think that you should read Manhattan CR first and then CR Bible. CR Bible is a little bit complicated

CR Powerscore is a very good book especially if start preparing for GMAT from scratch. You get very good explaination of each question types. You cannot use "strategies" if you are poor in basic fundamentals.
