How will i find the correct statement in this?

How will i find the correct statement in this?

- Those 30 or younger
- Those between 30 and 40
- Those 40 or older
If we want the percent 40 or younger, then we want the sum of the first two groups.
Statement 1. Now we know:
- Those 30 or younger: 50%
- Those between 30 and 40: 30%
Clearly we can find the sum: 50+ 30 = 80% Sufficient.
Statement 2: Now we know
- Those 40 or older: 20%
Well, everyone else would be under 40. 100% - 20% = 80%. Sufficient.
The answer is D
