If a triangle has angle measures of x, y, and z, what is the value of x?

(1) y + z = 130
(2) x + y = 98

The OA is A.

I'm really confused with this DS question. Please, can any expert assist me with it? Thanks in advanced.

(1) y + z = 130

Since the sum of all the angles of a triangle is 180º, x + y + z = 180.

Thus, x = 180 - (y + z) => x + 180 - 130 = 50º. Sufficient.

(2) x + y = 98

Can't get the value of x with this information. Insufficient.

The correct answer: A

Hope this helps!
