Masters in Management

by Jenil » Sat Oct 21, 2017 7:13 pm
Hello,
I am an Indian having 4 year undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. I completed my degree in April-2016. I am working in Operations field of FMCG on a leadership role. I wanted to pursue MiM. My post graduation goal is to be in Investment Banking or Equity Research. I am a bit confused about my target schools. Whether I should go for European B-schools such as ESSEC, ESCP, IE, BOCCONI or USA based MM programmes. I wanted to work for2-3 years abroad after MIM and then come back to India. Which schools can be a good fit??

Hey there,
Good to hear from you. As far as the US vs Europe it more depends on where you want to study and live than anything else. Either could be good. Especially if you are going for just a few years.

Hello Jenil,
The best MiM programs in the world are in Europe. Keep in mind that not all MiM programs are called Masters in Management programs. Instead, terms such as Masters in International Business, Masters in General Management and Masters in Business and Economics are often used for these programs, just to name a few examples. The reason is that different countries and schools have different traditions for naming their programs, and the curriculum and marketing of the program often plays a part as well. Masters in Management is becoming a more popular name for these types of programs, however, worldwide.
