Magoosh.....first few days

by mbaorbust3 » Wed Apr 26, 2017 10:55 pm
Hi All,

I've been using textbooks from Official Guide, Veritas, and Manhattan GMAT for a while and ran out of questions. I decided to sign up for Magoosh and my first 26 questions I was only got a little bit more than half correct. I reviewed everything and understood my mistake but I guess I'm just a bit disappointed in myself. I'm hoping this is an initial adjustment issue to the electronic format. Has anyone else experienced the same thing? I hoping it's just nerves right now. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi mbaorbust3,

If you've worked through all of the practice questions in those books, then you've worked through a LOT of practice questions. Before I can offer you any advice about how best to improve, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

Goals:
3) What is your goal score?
4) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
