What was the percent change in a certain stock portfolio's value between July 1 and August 1?
(1) The portfolio's value decreased by 20% between August 1 and September 1, at which point the portfolio's value was 25% greater than it had been on July 1.
(2) The portfolio's value decreased by 20% between June 1 and July 1, at which point the portfolio's value was 20% less than it would be on September.
I do not understand the phrase 'at which point...'. what does it mean?
Unclear wording........Veritas question

'at which point,' refers to the dates. In statement 1, it refers to 'September 1' and in statement 2, it refers to 'July 1.'
Hope this helps!
