Consider the following points Shahid:
  1. The nature of your work, though in the oft-represented IT space, looks good and nuanced. The area you are associated with is very relevant and the customer facing roles you have had should help you differentiate well.
  2. It will be good to understand your career ambitions/goals. The GMAT could be a bit of a dampener depending on the kind of schools you are targeting.
  3. The ECs are looks fine and should help you get the requisite brownie points too.
Hope this helps some.

Cheers,

Hi! Agree that the GMAT is going to make it hard to break into top 20 programs. I would focus on that because a few extra points and a lot of programs open up as possibilities. Strong work experience.

Hello Shahid,

Though you belong to the most competitive pool, we think that you have quite a good work and EC profile and therefore are well positioned to make the best use of the opportunity.

However an above par GMAT score is definitely required for this pool of candidates therefore we recommend that you retake your GMAT and aim for a 720+ score, anything less will keep you in the same pool as a 680.

Be consistent with your ECs and start your applications early. Ideally your timelines should be May mid for your retake so that you are ready for R1 for next year.

Kind Regards,
