Modifier Doubt

by karishma315 » Thu Feb 02, 2017 9:11 pm
I read today in Modifiers that:

a verb CANNOT be parallel to a verb-ed modifier, even if they have the identical structure.

Can someone explain to me what this means

Are you done with chapter on parallelism?

Verb can be parallel only to a verb.
modifier can be parallel only to a modifier.

If Ved is a modifier, then it can be parallel to another participle modifier-- Ved or Ving as per CONTEXT-- but it cannot be parallel to a working verb because only verb can be parallel to a verb.
