Hey there,
I'd love to help you out but without more info it's gonna be hard. Where do you work? What do you do? How quickly have you advanced? Do you have any leadership? What are your great achievements? Do you have notable community service or extra curriculars? Which school did you graduate from?

All of these will play important roles in your evaluation.
Best,
Jon

Hi Jon,

Thank you so much for your help!

Here is a brief of my profile, I have a total work experience of two and a half years divided between two companies:

1. Worked in an HR analytical role for one year at Tesco, generating reports such as HR KPI's, absence records etc. My biggest achievements at Tesco were automating the HR Kpi sheets and also becoming the single point of contact in my department for 6 of the 8 store groups in Tesco Ireland.

2. The last one and a half years I have devoted in my family business as a Marketing Manager leading a team of 6 members. Biggest achievements during this time were creating revenue of approximately 1 million USD in the last quarter and at the same time also increasing the customer base of the company by almost 15%.

My community service is quite limited, but I have been a volunteer teacher for a month at a local NGO teaching students up-to class 3. I have also helped organize a Health camp working under the purview of the local Member of Parliament.

I graduated from Bangalore University with a 3 year bachelor degree in Management securing 52% (GPA 2.7 approx). Was an active member of the event organizing committee during my college days.
I am also pursuing a 1 year PG diploma in HRM from Symbiosis distance learning, which I intend to finish by May 2017.

GMAT: 650
IELTS: 7.5

Thank you in advance for your help! I have already started my applications but was not confident enough to send them hesitant of my low academic scores.

Regards,
Vijay

Hey Vijay,
I think you can go ahead and give it a shot. Maybe your scores aren't that great, but you have some pretty good leadership in your profile, and the schools on your list aren't as competitive as top schools. You will have to give it your best shot,a nd make your essays logical, cohesive passionate and unique (I'm sure you can do it! :)), but you should have a real shot with a great application.

Best,
Jon
