Hey dude!
I like your profile!
You have a very strong basis - IIT grad, with good grades. You have intentional managerial experience, and are on the fast track! All this leads me to think that Top 10/15 schools will be in range.

However NOT with that GMAT :). But since you are young and ambitious, the solution is easy: RETAKE your GMAT!! If you get a 730/40+ you will be good for Top 15 schools. And it is TOTALLY worth it!

I would suggest having a look at this article about Indians and retaking the GMAT: https://admissionado.com/mba/to-retake-o ... n=mba_blog

Best,
Jon

Echoing the thought already shared here and some more Shubham:
  1. While your GPA looks pretty ok, the GMAT will make it quite tough to break into the top league as has been mentioned already. There is a lot of time still for this year's cycle an a re-take should definitely be on the cards. Or, think of expanding that list to have some more within reach schools. In any case, having only 1 school in your target is never a great strategy. Read here for more on the ideal number of schools.
  2. The continued international exposure can make for a really fantastic story. Leading a team of 40 at this age is a BIG thing and should get you a lot of mileage. You have not mentioned anything on your post-MBA plans though - whether you really get mileage out of this experience is also contingent on that.
  3. Finally, with all this professional work, it will also be good to understand if you've been doing stuff outside of office - hobbies/ECs. Those can add a nice personal touch, especially at the top schools.
Hope this helps some.

Excellent profile Shubham. Need to raise that GMAT score above 700 to have a better shot at INSEAD though. Judging by your profile, though, you should have a great shot at INSEAD.

Early career progress and international exposure are important to INSEAD. Your GMAT score does not eliminate you from consideration, but a higher than average GMAT score would help increase your chances, especially as you are from a very competitive pool.

Articulate your goals clearly and show how INSEAD fits. If INSEAD is your only target, you may highlight why this is the case. Demonstrating knowledge and keen interest with the specifics of the program would greatly help.

All the best and look forward to hearing your updates!
