Hey there,
Great to hear from you!
Sooo overall I think you have some good stuff in your profile (job and employer notably) and then some weaknesses (GPA and school and Indian applicant pool).

I think your 710 is a very solid score, and since you took it three times to get it that high, I don't honestly know how much it would help to take it once more....

Other than that, from your school list "Top 10" schools are likely to be real long shots (Sloan, Columbia, Tuck, LBS) so yes, apply to one, which is your favorite, but focus your energies on the other schools on your list.

I hope this helps,
Best,
JF

Hi Jon,
you have emphasized about the typical indian engineering male profile. Could you please give your views on the Indian 'Non Engineering' Male scenario i.e if the person has studied Economics. Finance or something else

Hey,
Well everything is taken into consideration. There are industries which are more highly considered, and there are positions which are more highly considered.

So finance will normally be better than Tech, but not necessarily, as it depends on the company, the position, etc. etc. etc.

But overall, Tech is the most problematic for Indians especially, as the jobs tend to have very little management in them, and there tends to be a lot of candidates with exactly the same profile too, and because there are sooo many
