IE Mim deadlines

by robin35 » Fri Feb 26, 2016 1:32 am
Hi I'm planning to apply to IE's MiM for the Sept 2016 intake. Is it too late for the same?

Thanks.

Hey Robin,

IE follows a rolling admission process and has no specific deadline. Although the earlier you apply, the better your chances are.
Having said that, it's certainly not too late if your profile, application and essays are strong. A higher GMAT score also helps your cause. We understand that there is a significant cost to applying in terms of time and money.
Hence, in order to help you understand what chance you stand at this stage of the application process, I suggest taking the free evaluation offered at

Thanks Abhyank.
I also have another query - my company recently asked me to relocate to their branch office in another country and I wasn't comfortable with the choice, so I had to resign from my position recently.
Now I'm unemployed, and primarily focused on getting a seat in the MiM September 2016 intake.
Would my situation jeopardise my chances of getting through?

Hey Robin,

If you left your job recently it will not be a problem at all.
Just make sure you have an alibi ready if asked about why you left the job, and better yet do some part time job or course to account for the free time you have right now.

This will help diversify your profile and give you an edge in this highly competitive last round.
