Universities Shortlist Review

by Vendi » Mon Oct 26, 2015 10:26 pm
Hello,

I got a 640 GMAT and 112 TOEFL and will have a 2 years of full time professional experience by the time I join the university in Aug 2016. I have a good academic record, graduated as a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) with a GPA of 9.5/10.
I have made a shortlist of the universities that I plan to apply to for a 2 year MBA program in the US.
Please be so kind and give me your feedback on this. You may suggest which other universities I could add to my list and which ones I could eliminate. I am looking for universities with affordable course fees, something within $70000 for 2 years.
Thanks for your help!:)

Texas A & M University
University of Florida
Pennsylvania State University
University of Illinois, Urbana Chamnpagna
North Carolina State University
University of Massachusetts
City University of New York (Baruch)
University of Georgia
University of Washington

Hi Vendi, can I ask why you feel you need to get a MBA right now? With only two years of experience you don't have a lot on your resume yet to sell to the top schools. If you work hard for another two years and maybe even bump your gmat score up 40 points, you'll open up a whole new set of schools. Will make a big difference in your career going to a top 25 school vs a top 50. Don't rush it!
