While I don't know the answer to your question, it may be that nobody has answered because you posted it in the wrong category. It's not a success story. It's a question. So you may want to choose a different category and post it there instead.
Meanwhile, your quant score is ok, and I bet you could drive it a little higher without too much trouble, and I suspect you could drive that verbal score significantly higher by doing some not all that onerous amount of work. So going for a higher score might be a good idea.

While a score of 500 is very low even for an MBA program, for MSF it would be impossible to make it into any decent school. It is important that you understand that such programs are meant for fresh graduates or graduates with lower work experience and therefore, GMAT score and GPA are two key deciding factors. It is therefore hardly surprising that for any school the average GMAT for MSF programs is much higher than the corresponding MBA program. Even if your GPA is 4.0, a 500 could be a deal breaker. With a decent GPA, you will need at least a 650 to get into any good MSF program. If your GPA is on the lower side, I suggest you target a score above 700.
Hope this helps.

You will definitely have to score better on the GMAT. Forget about schools and applications for the time being and just work on the GMAT!
