Hi,
I'm Sourav. I'm in a bit of a situation. I graduated from Electrical Engineering in the year 2012 with 6.5/10 cgpa. Due to private family matter ,I was unable to study or work. But as the matter has subsided, I want to know to resume higher studies. As MBA requires Work experiences ,it's out of hand. So I was wondering, if any good MIM programs that I would be eligible for.
I recently gave the Gmat for the very first time and scored 697 . I have an Ielts score of 7.5.
So kindly enlighten me to the possibilities of getting into MIM programs in Europe. I am not searching for the best . Just good schools to study.

Well, you might also consider technical Masters (information systems, engineering, etc. etc.) They might also help you get launched. An MiM is also possible of course. But with your grades it's gonna be tough to get into a good one.

Best,
JF

Hey Sourabh,

Well first of all it is very hard to determine your chances at good MiM schools just based on your academics and GMAT score.

You will need to provide a much more detailed description about your extra curricular activities, any notable achievements and work experience(internship/part time etc); in order to get a proper analysis of your chances at good schools.

Judging from your GMAT, the score is pretty good and should allow you to apply to any school, but yes your CGPA is a point of worry and will raise eyebrows at the top schools. But this can be compensated for by your other activities and the skill set you have developed over time.

Here make sure you write really great essays and LOR's to ensure high chances of acceptance.
Some schools i feel you can safely target are Emlyon, Esade, Imperial, Grenoble.

You can check out https://www.mim-essay.com/mim-profile-evaluation-.html and opt for our Free profile evaluation service, which would give you a much more comprehensive analysis of your chances & also other school options that you can consider.
