Most of the math concepts that are tested on the GMAT are learned in grades 1 to 10. HOWEVER, the GMAT test-makers are able to create VERY difficult questions based on elementary concepts.

Hi shitalpagare,
Most of the questions in the Quant section are based on standard Algebra, Arithmetic and Geometry concepts (with some 'specialty' subjects, including permutations, combinations, probability, basic statistics et al.). However, in several situations, you'll be asked about a concept that you probably know, but in a way that you're not used to thinking about. As such, beyond (re)learning all of the formulas/rules/etc., you also have to learn tactics, pattern-matching, and other skills.
I assume that you're asking because you're in the early stages of your studies. Is that the case? When are you thinking about taking the GMAT?
