has been the way the

reevaluate the nature of international relations.

A. No less remarkable than the invention of
nuclear power

B. What was as remarkable as the invention
of nuclear power

C. Inventing nuclear power has been none
the less remarkable than

D. The invention of nuclear power has been
no less remarkable as

E. The thing that was as remarkable as
inventing nuclear power

STAY IN ONE TENSE unless a change in tense is required.
B: What was as remarkable...has been the way
E: The thing that was as remarkable...has been the way
Here, the mix of the past tense (was) and the present perfect (has been) conveys an illogical sequence.
Eliminate A and B.

Only PARALLEL FORMS may be compared.
C: Inventing nuclear power has been...less remarkable than the way...
Here, inventing nuclear power (gerund + direct object) and the way (noun) are not parallel forms.
Eliminate C.

In D, less...as is unidiomatic.
The correct idiom is less THAN.
Eliminate D.

The correct answer is A.
