GMAT YouTube Video Recommendations?

by AdamMac » Fri May 08, 2015 8:55 pm
I'm not making YouTube a core part of my prep, but I'm just curious if anyone has any YouTube GMAT video recommendations? Most of what I found was pretty horrendous. I've always found the YouTube search system pretty weak, so I just wonder if anyone has found anything decent?

Thanks for any recommendations!

Hi AdamMac,

Are you looking for anything in particular on YouTube? Quant? Verbal? Lessons on specific concepts? OG Explanations?

Hi Rich,

Thanks for asking. I'm just looking for some videos that get to some x-factor, if you know what I mean. I found some videos for GMATfree.com, and they were so dull I quit ambien cold turkey.

Do you know of any videos that get at deeper tips or insight?

Hi AdamMac,

The GMAT is designed around a variety of consistent patterns and "secrets"; there are so many, in fact, that you probably wouldn't experience them all by randomly hunting through online videos.

In the broader sense, you're more likely to find what you're looking for by enrolling in a GMAT Course of some type and immersing yourself in the training. To give you an idea of our sensibilities (and some videos that you'll likely find fit what you're looking for), you can visit the EMPOWERgmat Channel on Youtube and use the various free resources on our site (www.empowergmat.com).

Hi Brent, and Rich,

Thank you for your suggestions. I took a peek at your videos, and kudos to each of you. These are definitely a step up from gmatfree.com, and some of the other garbage out there
