by ccosta022 » Fri Dec 26, 2014 10:21 am
I am taking the GMAT in the beginning of 2015, however can I use my 2014 prep guides and books to study for the test? or do I need to re-order all new books for 2015? thank you in advance!

HI ccosta022,

Yes, you can use your current books to study for the GMAT - they're essentially the same as any books that were published more recently; you might also want to download the two free practice CAT tests and practice problems from www.mba.com.

What is your score goal?
When are you planning to take the GMAT?

Hi Ccosta022,

If you already have the previous versions of the Official Guide (the 13th edition of the Official Guide for GMAT Review and the 2nd edition of the Official Guide Quant Review and Official Guide Verbal Review), don't race out to buy the new Official Guide 2015 books. Instead, put that money towards the Question Pack, which will provide you with new questions and increased computer-based functionality. To crack GMAT, you need to buy strategy guides if you don't have one. Otherwise you still can use your 2014 prep guides.

Let us know if you have any questions regarding gmat preparation and we would be happy to guide. Wish you the best.
