TOEFL score 99 percentile -Add to RESUME?

by vincenm » Wed Dec 03, 2014 8:16 pm
Hi

I am an Indian applicant who got 99 percentile on TOEFL (117/120).

DO you think it is wise to add this point to the Additional INFO section of my MBA application resume , considering resume length is not an issue at the college?

Thanks in advance.

Hehe.:)

I wish that is true as my GMAT verbal score doesn't match this 99 percentile I got in TOEFL.

Anyways thanks for your advice.

It cannot hurt, but will most likely not help. You would normally mention your TOEFL score, if the language of your undergraduate instruction was not English.

Yeah, you can add it if you'd like but I don't see it really adding much value. If it is the adcom reading the resume, they'll have your overall application which will have your TOEFL score already. If it's someone interviewing you, well, you'll be speaking to them. Think about the opportunity cost of that bullet and if there is something more interesting you could add to that space, perhaps use it for something a bit more interesting!
