Waitlisted - What if your retake ends up even lower? - The Beat The GMAT Forum

I was recently waitlisted at a top 15 program with a 690 GMAT. I'm almost 30 points below the average, and it seems that the GMAT be the culprit. Would my chances be hurt even more if I end up retaking but end up scoring even lower? Do I have to report the new score?
