510- Low GMAT SCORE Colleges to apply List

Hi All,

I am from India and I have got a low GMAT score of 510. I gave gave my GMAT again after 1 month but my score was below 510 so I cancelled my second test score. I know my score is low but I am planning to apply with the score of 510 only. I want to apply for MBA- General Management in US and Singapore for Fall-2015 intake. Could you please let me know which all university I can apply based on my profile details as mentioned below.

1. GMAT score: 510 (44 Quant and 17 verbal)
2. TOEFL score: 100
3. Work Ex : 34 months as Business Development Executive for a one of leading IT firm in India
4. Undergrads : Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and telecommunication GPA : 3.67
5. Extra curricular Activities such as
a) Represented my collage in Debate competition
b) Participated and Organised Collage fest as Head and member of core organizing committee
c) Represented my school in 100 m race at District level etc.

I would recommend you retaking the GMAT and/or trying the GRE. I am not familiar with business schools regularly accepting Indian candidates with 510 GMAT scores. Of course, there are anecdotal examples with a very low GMAT score and other stellar attributes but this is the exception and not the rule.

Dear Swat1989,

You may find the article here useful in your quest. And yeah, a better GMAT score, potentially with professional help, will be critical to get into some respectable schools out there.
