by swetha_16 » Tue Sep 02, 2014 9:27 am
Hi,

I would like to know how good the below universities are in their Full Time MBA degrees... Especially with regard to placement offers and value for money...

1. Arizona State University - Carey business school
2. Texas A&M university - Mays school
3. University of Maryland - Smith school of business
4. University of Texas - Dallas JSOM
5. William and Mary univ - Mason school of business
6. Rochester University - Simon
7. Kelley - Indiana University

Really appreciate the help!!
Thanks!!!

Hi there,

The best thing I can do is point you to a few resources.... for example, each school will have a page on their website with employment statistics, so you can get great info there.

The US News & World Report Business School ranking does include a column about % of grads employed at graduation as well as 3 months out, so you can scan down that list as well.

Finally Forbes does a ranking for value-for-money of many b-schools.

Hope that helps!

Hi Swetha

I agree with Jennifer. You would have to refer to resources and specially the placement statistics every school posts on their website. That will help you gain a perspective on where the expertise of a school lies in terms of placements in a particular function or industry.

Also you could try getting in touch with either alums or current students to gain an understanding of how the school is doing in terms of placements and what kind of activities are being done towards the same.

Good Luck!
