Can I get accepted for a good MBA program?
This topic has expert replies
I am 22 years old and now I want to apply for an MBA program. It's already 2 years that I have graduated from my bachelor's degree in economics. I have around 5 years professional work experience. I worked for 2.5 years while studying for my undergraduate degree and for 2 years after graduation. I have also started managing my family's business. But my main concern is my low GPA which is approximatly 2.7(13.5 from 20). It is so low because I was working a lot at the time of studying. I did internship in a bank while studying and have 3 month experience in bank after graduation. I am volenteering in my school. My TOEFL score is 105 and I will take GMAT in september or october. If I get a high score for GMAT will I get accepted for an MBA program (Stern, Wharton or London Business School) with my very low GPA?

You definitely can get in with a low GPA, but the first thing you need to do is ace the GMAT to prove that you have the ability. Then, in your applications, address why you had a low GPA - don't hide it.
