Hi there,

Thanks for posting and for the detailed profile information. Overall you have a lot of strengths and things going for you.... is it enough to be remembered and stand out among all of the applicants to schools like Stanford, HBS, Wharton etc... tough to say. But you've got a lot of strong aspects so I would definitely recommend applying. Keep in mind that b-school admissions is not a straightforward formula where you can enter your GMAT score and a few other things and come up with a nice algorithm outcome or answer ;).... decisions are made holistically and based upon everything about you, how you'll contribute to that school's class, what your goals are, what you've experienced, what you plan to do post-MBA, etc. There is an element of subjectivity as well, and the fact that in most cases your profile and application would be read by multiple people.

What we don't know here is more details about your leadership and management experience and potential, and your achievements and more in depth about your work experience. And we don't know what you'll present in your essays to try to show more about who you are as a person, what makes you unique, what makes you tick so to speak. All of the above can make a large impact in the final decision.

But what you've got going for you:

-excellent GMAT
-solid academics & work experience
-unique achievement of the patent as described
-some leadership and extracurricular involvements over the years
-quantitative & analytical ability

No major weaknesses at this point, except the general fact that there are so many Indian IT and engineering applicants so it's a competitive group to originate from.

Keep us posted on what other questions you have, do your school research, and apply where it feels right, among top programs! Good luck!
