1 - sufficient. 21x + 7x = 560000. We can calculate x and hence
find 3x which is what D pays for advertising

2 - sufficient. 7x - 4x = 60000. Again we can calculate x and hence
calculate 3x.

Is the answer D ?

Answer is D.

I set up 2) incorrectly. Initially I had it as : B = 60K + C. I couldn't solve this equation so I crossed out 2)
