1. Which of the following lists the number of points at which a circle can intersect a triangle?

1. 2 and 6 only
2. 2,4 and 6 only
3. 1,2,3 and 6 only

5. 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 only

2. A certain theater has 100 balcony seats. For every $2 increase in the price of a balcony seat above $10, 5 fewer seats will be sold. If all the balcony seats are sold when the price of each seat is $10, which of the following could be the price of a balcony seat if the revenue from the sale of balcony seats is $ 1360?

Draw the circle and triangle and find all of the possible points (pass all 3 sides of the circle, pass 2 sides, pass 1 side, pass the angle, ect)

2. C

Try each possibility:
12 price * 95 seats
14 price* 90seats
16 price * 85 seats = 1360

agree with Victory!! Here is just some add on

1. Draw a triangle, and randomly draw circles (which cross the triangle). Answer is E

2. Assume raise price X times

(10+2X) * (100-5X) = 1360
solve the equation and we got X = 3 or 12
which means we raise price 3 times or 12 times, in turn, the answer will be 10 + 2*3 = 16


FYI: 10 + 2X means the new ticket price, when we raise ticket price X times, 100 - 5X means the amount of people in balcony when we raise ticket price X times
