MGMAT guide Question

This paper is NONE THE LESS impressive THAN that one.

Manhattan gmat guide says the above idiom is incorrect. Does the following tweak makes it correct :

This paper is NONE THE LESS MORE impressive THAN that one.

I think it does, experts can you please help me ? Also, somehow i believe that i have come across original construction. Please advise!
