by greatman » Tue Mar 13, 2007 4:15 pm
Appeared for GMAT todat scored 530 Q 32 V 31....

But I had scored in GMAT prep in Qhant more than 40 both the times..in one exam 47....I was afraid of Verbal..but for me 31 is acceptable..but can not digest 32 in Quant...

My target is to achieve 600-620.....please guide me....will start preparing again in a week or so...planning to appaer in end of April...

Any book for CR ..pl suggest me....

Please comment...Thanks

Hi Greatman:

I'm sorry to hear about your GMAT today--I'm definitely surprised by your quant performance, given your previous practice exams that you mentioned.

If you could raise your quant to the levels you were performing in your practice, I think that should get you to your target score.

What was different about the actual tests from what you had seen in your practice? Did you suffer from any nerves? Were the topics presented particularly difficult for you?

Definitely take some rest.

The only material that I have for CR is listed on the GMAT Wiki. Unfortunately, I've never encountered a good textbook that tackled CR--just a lot of practice and experimentation of strategy.

Best of luck!
