Hi ,
The given triangle is an equilateral triangle.
Hence area is given as :((3)^.5)/4)*(a^2)
nd area of square is s^2.

Equating we get :
(t^2/s^2) = 4/(3^.5)
t/s = 2/(3^.25)

here goes the answer...

Area of a equvilateral triangle =Sq root 3/4 a^2 where a =t

area of a square = S^2

hence
sqrt3/4 t^2= s^2
T^2/S^2=4/Sqrt3

therefore

t/s = 2/4 root 3

hope it helps.

PS: i would request posters not to use smileys while posting as its add more confusion to all.
