GMAT math prep

by sunil » Thu Jun 15, 2006 7:55 am
Guys,
Want to start GMAT math prep and would appreciate if someone could name a couple of good books to brush up the basics. As still I have a year to take the test, I do not want to exhaust traditional test prep matl like, GP, kaplan et al. But at the same time want to start honing my poor math skills.

Thanks.

A year is a long time to be preparing for the GMAT--I would recommend preparing for 3-4 months instead, but it's certainly up to you to determine the best roadmap.

I would recommend Kaplan GRE & GMAT Math Workbook as a good overview of GMAT math basics. OG is also a great text to work with when preparing for math. Don't hestitate to repeat OG over and over again because doing so will help you pick up on common GMAT math patterns.
