From 248 people, 156 are married. So if no other status is allowed, the remaining 92 are not married.
From the 156 married people, 25% are self employed, meaning 39p.
If in total there are 70p self employed, in the 92 not married people should exist 70-39=31p.
So there are 31p not married and self employed in the survey.
The probability of picking 1 that is not married and self employed is therefore
31/248 = 0,125 = 1/8 Ans is A.
