HMTL default suggestion

I doubt that most of the people who post here use HTML. Since the tags ("<" and ">") interfere with posting inequality questions, setting the HTML default to disable is likely to clear up a lot more problems than it would cause.

Anyone who actually wants to use HTML can quickly figure out how to enable it, while those who don't use it are more likely to have trouble figuring out how (and why) to disable it.

Great suggestion. Let me bring this to the attention of surfd00d, BTG's site engineer. We might be able to fix this for our next site release, happening soon.

We had discussed this issue, some 2/3 months ago...
The default value should be "disabled"

We obviously cant expect members to make that tick mark before posting > signs...
