Hi Stacy,
Is it possible for me to get admission in 2007 if I give my GMAT in the month of Dec '06.
What is the appropriate time for International students to give GMAT?
Waiting for your valuable suggestions & advice.
Thanks. |

All of the schools have different programs and deadlines, so my answer actually depends on where you are applying. However, I have written out general thoughts that would apply to the majority of MBA programs below.
Yes, it is possible. But it is not recommended. If you take the GMAT in December 2006, you will have very little time to dedicate yourself exclusively to your applications. If you do not do well on your first attempt at the GMAT, you will have even less time to prepare properly and retake it.
So my first question to you is: if you are already thinking about your applications, why are you planning on a Decmber GMAT? I would recommend trying to schedule the test for July or August. _________________ S T A C Y B L A C K M A N Consulting

Hi Stacy,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I failed to plan properly & got into trouble now. Eventhough, I started my GMAT preparation 6 months before, I have no confidence to take the test in Aug. I think I am going to waste one year.
Life became miserable.
Anyhow thank you once again for your kind advice.

If you start studying now - you should be able to prepare well for a test in August!
Don't give up and good luck! _________________ S T A C Y B L A C K M A N Consulting
