Hi all,
Has anybody experienced this before?

I have been getting about a 100 point difference between the GMATPrep and MGMAT practice tests. On MGMAT, I see a lot of 700-800 level questions and am never able to finish in time whereas on the GMATPrep I am able to do so.

Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

The MGMAT is generally tougher than the Prep software. I would think a 100point difference is pretty ok since i had the same experience and still ended up with a 710 on the GMAT.

I would agree. I had 60-70 score difference between the GMAT prep and MGMAT.

Yes, MGMAT is more difficult.

my scores also fluctuated in the MGMAT tests i also felt like i got shot a lot of 700-800 and 600-700 difficulty level questions at one go 7-8 of them...
could we have some more ideas about whether a score of 60 to 70 more would be realistic to expect i kind of doubt that though i am hoping there is a increase by 30-40 on the real test compared to the MGMAT

Target GMAT Score: 720

My scores on MGMAT and GMATPrep were right in line with each other, but that's just my personal experience. Others have obviously had different experiences as Neo noted. You can see my MGMAT and last GMATPrep score in my signature (the last 4 scores before the 720 GMAT score).
