Hi Jon,

I have admission offers from Simon (U of Rochester) and Owen ( Vanderbilt University). I have also been offered scholarship from both and Owen's scholarship is 15k more than that of Simon.

I have almost 2.5 years of work experience in IT industry and during my MBA, I wish to specialize in IT Strategy Consulting.

I am having hard time figuring out which school to go for.

Simon, as I perceive it, has a better brand name and more renowned faculty. But Owen's small class size (with no part time MBAs) and its career management center scores over that of Simon(Simon CMC has been revamped but is still to be tested). Location wise, there should not be much difference in the cost of living in both Rochester and Nashville but Nashville's weather seems to be more pleasant.

Do you think my perception of Simon's better brand name and more renowned faculty is well-founded.

It would be really helpful to me if I can have any advice from you that can help me make this decision.
