Hi guys,
Just a quick question. I am targetting for 720+, so whats the accuracy level I should expect in Verbal and in Quant during questions practice. As presently I am getting around 60% in SC from OG11. I believe its too low. So wanted some expert advice.

Thanks,

PS - I am working on OG11 and 1000 docs.
Any pointers to some previous posts are also welcome.

Target GMAT Score: 720

Just from my personal experience: I scored 720 and my hit rates ranged from mid 80% to mid 90% across all topics and all difficulty levels. Only in the last 30 problems of DS did my hit rates drop. These were timed hit rates also.

720 is an interesting threshold - awfully specific. why 720 in particular, and not, say, 710 or 730? do you just like factorials a whole lot*, or is there a better reason?

yeah, 60% is too low. but when you think about percentages, remember that o.g. problems are arranged in rough order of difficulty, so your percentages may vary wildly depending on where in the o.g. you're getting the problems.
if that 60% means that you missed 4 out of the very last 10 problems in the SC section, then yes, you still have a fighting chance at the score you want. however, if you're only getting 60% midway through the section, you need to improve.

*720 = 6!
it's hard not to like factorials after spending enough time with them (as you probably have if you've been studying for the gmat). they're so bubbly and happy!
