I know that a lot of people have said their Kaplan diagnostic and CAT scores are much lower than their real gmat scores or scores on other test prep CAT's. I was just wondering if you're finding your score lower for verbal, math, or both. In my case it's verbal. I'm finding the wording and questions in verbal a little strange. Am i wrong or is KAPLAN CAT's an accurate picture of my verbal abilities? Thanks for your input.

The Kaplan GMAT tests have a reputation of skewing down raw scores across the board, so take them with a grain of salt. GMAT Prep is considered the most accurate indicator of your actual GMAT performance--consider taking one of these tests to get a decent benchmark of your progress.

Good luck!

Kaplan's verbal questions are particularly bad, so yes, they're even worse for verbal than they are for quant. Their quant questions are actually good practice, but verbal.........NOT!
