|
|
| I was wondering, during the actual exam, will we be given time (say 5 minutes or so) to read the directions before each section, or is there no time allocated to doing so? I want to see if I have time to set up a POE grid during this time. |

| Yes you would be give time during the exam. If I remember right, you would get five minutes for the same. |

gmac.com says: Read all test directions carefully. The directions
explain exactly what is required to answer each type of
question. To review directions during the test, click the
Help icon, but be aware that this will count against your
allotted time for that section of the test.
I say: The directions are always the same, so it is best to memorize them so you don't have to waste any time with them on test day.
Best wishes,

Yes - you should memorize the instructions to not waste time there.
However, the question is whether he will have time to set up his scratch paper for work.
To answer this - once you enter the section, you should not waste time on the directions pages.
However - you will have time before you start the test to set it up. At the very beginning, there are screens you have to manipulate through. Use some of this time. Or at worse, use some of the break between/after the essays to prepare your paper for the quant sections. |
