Thanks Eric!
We look forward to helping the Beat the GMAT community tackle the MBA admissions challenge! I won't toot my own horn (or Veritas Prep's horn) much here, but I'd like to introduce myself a little bit. I earned my MBA at Kellogg in 2004. While in business school, along with Omari Bouknight (Harvard MBA '04) I co-authored Your MBA Game Plan, one of the most widely used MBA admissions books in the world. That book is now in its second edition, published in late 2007.
We launched an essay and resume edited service under the MBA Game Plan name in 2005, and in 2007 we merged that service into Veritas Prep's own admissions consulting service. Since then I have been a part of the Veritas Prep team, most recently taking on the role of Director of Marketing. However, I still really enjoy helping applicants master the MBA admissions process.
If you have any questions, please fire away! Our team of experts would love to help you!
Best,

Hello Everyone!
My name is Nikhil and I am an Admissions Consultant with Veritas Prep. I am excited to work with the the Beat the GMAT community to provide valuable insight and advice into the [insert your own adjective here!] world of MBA admissions.
A little information about me - I graduated from the Wharton MBA Program in 2005. I have several years of experience working with traditional, non-traditional and international MBA applicants. My work experience prior to business school was in investment banking and non-profit management.
Feel free to contact me with your questions.
So... ready to tackle the MBA admissions process? Let's do this!
Regards,

Not only have i loved your book, i've recommended it to everybody who's ever asked me help. Its a fantastic book, the planner excel sheet really helped me put everything into separate categories. I believe that was the best part of the book and well worth what I paid for it ( considering i bought it off Amazon during sale. it was just before the new version came out, can't say i didnt grumble )
Amazing to have you onboard _________________ Quant Tutor

I second Neo's comments about the book "Your MBA Game Plan" It is a must read for anyone applying to top MBA programs.
The book does a great job of demystifying the application process and is helpful to everyone - from those who are considering business school to those who are 2 weeks from school deadlines.
Its always a bit surprising to me when applicants to top MBA program are still clueless of the process. For example, they don't know much about the programs they are applying to, don't understand the importance of the LOR, are not prepared for their MBA interview. Let me get this straight, you are ready to spend $100,000+ and yet you are still confused?
All of this information (and so much more) is in the book.
So...have questions about the process? As one of my favorite Wharton professors said whenever his students had basic questions - RTFB!!!
(excuse my language, Mr/Mrs. Forum Admin... blame my Prof!)

Hi Scott,
I am currently going through Your MBA Game Plan, and I really have to say how well written it is. You and Omari did a great job covering the different aspects of the application process.
I am currently an owner of the first edition of your book. How much will I be shortchanging myself by not exposing myself to the second edition? Are you at liberty to share which sections have been revamped? _________________ Head-to-Head Analysis: Veritas Prep versus Manhattan GMAT |

I should probably add that I'm also a Mod on India's largest MBA forum so i certainly reach out to a lot more people than you are realising Not to mention i worked briefly with Veritas' India partner, CareerLauncher, @ Hyderabad. While the students there were preparing for another MBA entrance, quite a few were certainly interested in the GMAT.
