Something doesn't seem right with the answer choices.

Since xy = 1, x=y=1 or x=y=-1 or x and y are reciprocols.

The denominator would yield 0 with either 1 or -1 so they are reciprocols.

I plugged in 2 and 1/2 and got 25/9 as an answer.

I get the same answer for other values of x and y also.

Anyone else think something is wrong with this problem or am I making a mistake?
