Please describe your short-term professional goals and how do you plan to achieve them (pre-MBA) (200-word limit)

How does one approach such a question... What are the key points to be covered?

Thanks

Key Points:
1. It should be a natural step on your way to your long-term goals
2. Ideally it should have some connection with your past experience
3. Your path should be logical, realistic, and end with something impressive, yet attainable.

Dear Jon,

I was really happy to read your article on how a high GMAT score can help in the admissions process. I am however having difficulty deciding which colleges to apply to. I would be grateful if you could give me some idea about the same. This is my profile:

25 yrs old, Indian female, post-graduate in pharmacy with a 9.8/10 CGPA from a premier institute in India (8.8/10 in graduation from another top-ranked institue in India), however current work experience is 17 months in the field of patents. Participated in a lot of sports through out college and at work, have 3 patent applications in India and in the US to my name and am a registered patent agent in India. GMAT score 750 (98 percentile), verbal: 42, Quant: 49, AWA: 4.5.

Thanks!
